Plan, Talk, Live
Plan, Talk, Live is the theme of the Dying Matters Week organised by the charity Dying Matters to take place between the 18 and 24 May 2015. The aim of the week is to have the population talk about death and planning for later life both of which are such taboo subjects.
Local events are being held by St Gemma’s and Wheatfield’s Hospice together with Age UK, and we are helping with some of the events.
Notwithstanding next week’s plans we can assist you throughout the year in the Wills & Probate team so that once you have your paperwork in place you can get on and enjoy an active life knowing you have done all you can to make matters easier for those you love.
We can help you make a Power of Attorney so that your finances can be handled should you ever become ill.
We can help make a Power of Attorney for your health so that should you be unable to make decisions about your care and treatment you have somebody in place to look after such decisions for you.
We can help you draft and complete an Advance Decision or Living Will so that if you fear indignity more than you fear death your wishes are made known.
We draft Wills and can advise you on how matters will work in practice having had many years experience of the practicalities of administering estates. Your Will may also tackle inheritance tax planning and nursing home fee planning.
