Ian Errington qualified as a Solicitor in 1994 and joined Blacks Solicitors as a Partner in the Commercial Property team in 2016. He is now Head of the Firm’s Residential Conveyancing team, known as Blacks Direct.
Ian was previously a Partner at another Leeds practice where he specialised in site acquisition work for a major supermarket chain based in Bradford.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial property, with a particular emphasis upon the acquisition of complex retail and residential development sites.
Ian has also acted for a wide range of clients from owner occupiers, to local, regional, and FTSE 100 listed developers and housebuilders.
He believes in giving common sense, no nonsense advice and works to conclude deals as simply and as quickly as possible whilst delivering added value to his clients.
Ian is recognised by The Legal 500 for being “excellent at dealing with clients”.
